A New Open Access Journal is Launched: Robotics Reports
New Rochelle, January 30, 2023 — The Institute for Professional Education is pleased to support the launch of Robotics Reports, a new multidisciplinary open access journal devoted to the broad field of robotics. Robotics Reports will provide every author and reader the opportunity to rapidly publish and access the latest technological advances in robotics research including artificial intelligence, androids, autonomous machines, large-scale systems, micro/nano robots, robotics in deep-sea and space exploration, transportation, medical devices, surgical advancements, clinical applications, and more. Expansive in scope and mission, Robotics Reports commits to offering every opportunity to researchers in the field by considering a variety of contributions from research and review papers to commentaries, short reports, meta-analyses, null-hypothesis papers, protocols, methods, and Letters to the Editor. The journal is dedicated to serving the community as an easily accessible, open, and efficient scientific resource that supports the work taking place in this dynamic field. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for Robotics Reports will be $2,000 USD. With a generous grant from the Institute for Professional Education, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. will be waiving this APC for the first 25 published papers.This is an important step in support of open access and expanding the pool of submissions to peer-reviewed journals. ROSALIND FRANKLIN SOCIETY
The Rosalind Franklin Society recognizes, fosters, and makes known the important contributions of women in science. In so doing, the Society honors the achievements of Rosalind Franklin who helped solve the structure of DNA, one of the most important scientific accomplishments of the 20th century. Franklin symbolizes progress for women in science -- her contributions were not recognized during her lifetime or for many years after her death but today her work is highlighted in textbooks around the world. To celebrate the life, work, and symbolic power of this remarkable heroine of science, the Society recognizes the work of outstanding women scientists, fosters leadership opportunities, and motivates and educates generations of women who have a calling to science. AUTISM IN ADULTHOOD
Autism in Adulthood is the home for research and scholarship on the most pressing issues affecting adults on the autism spectrum, from emerging adulthood to later life. Breastfeeding Medicine provides unparalleled peer-reviewed research, protocols, and clinical applications to ensure optimal care for mother and infant. The Journal answers the growing demand for evidence-based research and explores the immediate and long-term outcomes of breastfeeding, including its epidemiologic, physiologic, and psychological benefits. It is the exclusive source of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine protocols. Breastfeeding Medicine is the official journal for the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. The journal also publishes a rich biweekly e-Newsletter, Briefings in Breastfeeding Medicine, with generous support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. CHILDHOOD OBESITY
With the support of the WK Kellogg Foundation and in partnership with Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., IPE worked to create the peer-reviewed journal Childhood Obesity. The Journal is based on the critical need for the dissemination of evidence-based knowledge to physicians and other health professionals in the face of the current epidemic of childhood obesity. According to WHO, the prevalence of childhood obesity presents one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century.

HEALTH EQUITY
Health Equity is the new peer-reviewed open access journal that meets the urgent need for authoritative information about health disparities and health equity among vulnerable populations with the goal of providing optimal outcomes and ultimately health equity for all. With coverage ranging from translational research to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of disease and illness, the Journal serves as a primary resource for organizations and individuals who serve these populations at the community, state, regional, tribal, and national levels. With generous support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation we have developed a free biweekly e-newsletter, Briefings in Health Equity.

VIOLENCE AND GENDER
Violence and Gender is the only peer-reviewed journal focusing on the role of gender in the understanding, prediction, and prevention of acts of violence. The Journal is the international forum for the critical examination of biological, genetic, behavioral, psychological, racial, ethnic, and cultural factors as they relate to the gender of perpetrators of violence. THE ACADEMY OF BREASTFEEDING MEDICINE
The Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine is a worldwide organization of physicians dedicated to the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding and human lactation. Its mission is to unite members of the various medical specialties with this common purpose through physician education, expansion of knowledge in both breastfeeding science and human lactation, facilitation of optimal breastfeeding practices and encouragement of the exchange of information among organizations. ACADEMY OF WOMEN'S HEALTH
The Academy of Women's Health is an interdisciplinary, international association of physicians, nurses, and other health professionals who work across the broad field of women's health, providing its members with up-to-date advances and options in clinical care that will enable the best outcomes for their women patients. The Academy's focus includes the dissemination of translational research and evidence-based practices for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for women across the lifespan.



 


SOCIETY FOR ADOLESCENT & YOUNG ADULT ONCOLOGY (SAYAO)
The Society for Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology (SAYAO) is an international professional organization dedicated to improving adolescent and young adult cancer care through the promotion of interdisciplinary research, education, communication, and collaboration between health professionals.
